To be admitted to the RN to BSN Degree Completion Option, you must:
- Have a two-year associate degree in nursing or a nursing diploma
- Hold an unencumbered RN license in the state in which you are practicing and/or plan to meet your practicum requirements
- Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale from your ASN or diploma program
- Nine credit hours of general education courses may be taken with nursing coursework
Admission is not competitive, so if you meet the criteria, you will be accepted into the program immediately. Before you begin classes, you must:
- Comply with immunization, CPR certification, and health insurance coverage requirements
- Complete a national criminal background check
The RN to BSN Degree Completion Option accepts applications on a rolling basis, so you may apply at any time. You can begin coursework in the fall, spring, or summer session.
