The online RN to BSN Degree Completion Option uses a flat per credit hour rate that includes all fees to lower costs.
Your total cost will depend on the number of transfer credits you have. You must earn 120 credit hours to complete the degree, and you can transfer in a maximum of 90 credit hours from your previous education.
There are a number of financial aid options for students enrolled in the online RN to BSN Degree Completion Option, including scholarships, grants, and student loans.
Any financial aid you receive will be awarded through your campus of enrollment, which will be determined during the application process. You can apply for most forms of federal, state, and institutional aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is used to determine your eligibility for financial aid. You can submit your FAFSA before you apply or are admitted to the RN to BSN program.
The IU School of Nursing offers more than $700,000 in scholarships to nursing students each year. After your campus of enrollment has been assigned, the RN to BSN academic advisor at that campus can help you learn more about nursing scholarships.
You also may be eligible for other scholarships offered by IU. After you’ve been admitted to the program, you can apply for IU scholarships by submitting the IU General Application.
